PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Proficient computer skills/Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
2. Assist in preparing the required yearly Consolidated Application for Funds and Consolidated LEA Performance Report.
3. Assist the Federal Programs Coordinator in organizing the Parental Involvement Program as required by specific federal programs.
4. Responsible for obtaining purchase orders and managing purchases with all federal program and grant monies.
5. Prepares all necessary correspondence.
6. Assist in organizing school and district Federal Programs Committees, to include scheduling, preparing agendas and keeping minutes of the meetings.
7. Assist Federal Program Coordinator in maintaining required paperwork for state and federal audits required by Federal Programs.
8. Work with district and school staff in the area of federal funding support, federal programs budgets, Parental Involvement, and inventory.
9. Assist Federal Programs Coordinator by traveling to attending workshops and/or seminars concerning related programs, current laws, and changes in all federal programs.
10. Assist Federal Programs Coordinator in the area of testing and assessment as required for Federal Programs.
11. Assist in preparing financial information needed to apply for any federal funding.
12. Assist in preparing the required reports for any federal funds awarded to the District.
13. Assists in organizing and maintaining financial records for all federal funds.
14. Assist in maintaining required paperwork for federal audits in relation to all federal funds.
15. Maintain files and a systematic set of records for financial transactions and processes related to federal programs,
16. Assist in preparing and monitoring annual budgets and budget amendments for all Federal Programs, including, but not limited to state and federal allocations,

18. Prepare monthly budget updates for all federal funds and meets on a routine basis with federal programs and grants administrators to monitor and update appropriate budgets
19. Maintain contracts, timesheets, personnel documentation related to federal programs bookkeeping
20. Model non-discriminatory practices in all activities
21. Participate and/or assists in special projects, and performs associated administrative duties, as assigned.
22. Maintains confidentiality of any school system related information.
23. Perform duties in a manner that promotes good public relations.
24. Be familiar with and follow Board of Education policies.
25. Maintain proper and professional relationship with other employees.
26. Handles routine requests.
27. Handle bulk mailings.
28. Answers the telephone, records messages, handles and/or routes calls.
29. Orders and maintains supplies as needed.
30. Performs any bookkeeping tasks associated with the specific position.
31. Welcomes visitors and arranges for their comfort, and screens unexpected callers in accordance with predetermined policy.
32. Performs the usual office routines and practices associated with a busy yet productive and smoothly run office.
33. Maintains such records as shall be required.
34. Types a variety of material, such as letters, reports, memos, etc., from rough drafts or corrected copies.
35. Verifies totals on report forms, requisitions, etc., and proofreads work of other employees as requested.
36. Performs various related office duties as assigned.
37. Other duties as may be assigned as related to the specific appointment.EVALUATION: Performance will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s Policy.TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 month contract. Salary according to approved Salary Schedule
