Job Title: Medical AssistantJob DescriptionThis role involves supporting flu vaccine clinics during the 2025–2026 season. Medical Assistants will assist nurses, support patient flow, maintain supply levels, document in EPIC, and ensure smooth clinic operations. Clinics may serve 500–600+ patients daily, and flexibility across four locations is required.Responsibilities
Assist nurses in daily clinic operations
Support patient flow and maintain supply levels
Document patient information in EPIC
Ensure smooth operations of vaccine clinics
Manage interactions with patients and parents, especially in pediatric settings
Float between four clinic locations as needed
Essential Skills
CPR/BLS Certification
6+ months of medical assisting experience
Patient care skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in high-volume environments
Comfortable working with children
Ability to manage difficult interactions
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Medical Assisting Certificate (preferred)
Pediatric vaccine experience (preferred)
EPIC experience (preferred)
Vaccine clinic or mass immunization experience
Experience in high-volume or fast-paced clinical environments
Ability to adapt to various site protocols
Strong team player
Work EnvironmentWork will be conducted in outpatient community flu and COVID vaccine clinics across four locations: Palo Alto, Burlingame, Daly City, and San Carlos. Each site features multiple vaccine stations, with adult and pediatric clinics available. Free and easy parking is available at all sites. Clinics may operate late on Thursdays (10 AM – 7 PM). Medical Assistants may need to cover different sites on short notice.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
