- Review and process daily cycle counts.
- Lead daily safety talks/stretches and help enforce “zero” tolerance safety policy.
- Train new stockroom employees to meet team/company standards.
- Lead stockroom associates and Material handlers in all daily functions, to meet company and team goals.
- Operate lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
- Performs all computer, ERP, and WMS functions necessary to track various aspects of goods.
- Release and print JOBC pick headers. Validate JOBC picks before delivery to staging.
- Troubleshoot pick issues within the warehouse including root cause analysis of Stockroom NCRD’s.
- Supports the picking and material handling processes with a high quality and attention to detail.
- Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department Supervisor.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Part Receiving/Stocking cross work.
- Part picking/shipping cross work.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned from the department supervisor.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a warehouse/fulfillment environment.
- One year ERP experience required.
- Must have intermediate computer user knowledge.
- Receiving experience required.
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of WMS and RF guns.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety.
- Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Attention to detail, self-starter, and must have ability to solve intermediate problems.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3-5 years of forklift & reach truck experience
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug screen.
- Ability to lift, up to 50 lbs.
- Work is performed in a production environment
- Occasional exposure to industrial operations (temperatures, noise, moisture, moving machinery).
