
Software Quality Assurance Analyst

- Designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, and scripts for software or product quality evaluation.
- Conducting functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify bugs, issues, and inconsistencies.
- Collaborating with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and specifications.
- Analyzing test results, documenting findings, and preparing detailed reports on testing outcomes and any identified issues.
- Working with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing clear and actionable feedback.
- Tracking and managing defects using QA tools (e.g., JIRA), ensuring that issues are addressed and resolved before product release.
- Participating in Agile/Scrum meetings to provide feedback and contribute to project timelines and testing priorities.
- Ensuring adherence to QA standards and procedures to maintain product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Assisting in planning and prioritizing test execution based on project requirements and deadlines.
- Providing support to the QA and development teams as needed, adapting to dynamic project demands.
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline. Candidates with equivalent education and relevant work experience may also be considered
- Proven experience in both manual and automated testing across various environments and platforms
- Knowledge of database management and SQL is a plus
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and experience with relevant tools (e.g., Gitlab) are advantageous
- 2-4 years software-based Quality Assurance experience
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Proficiency in QA tools such as JIRA, and test management software.
- Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an aptitude for identifying issues quickly and efficiently.
- Familiarity with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for test automation is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
