- This role requires up to 10% domestic travel
- Design control for 664 corrugated and paperboard materials
- Maintain and improve on current designs to meet safety, quality, velocity, and cost goals
- Create new solutions to support network operations and dealer needs
- Inventory management actions to achieve optimal balance between availability and turn
- Schedule collaboration to improve availability
- Joint Process Improvement projects with strategic suppliers
- Design new packaging for products based off of key performance indicators
- Providing detailed guidance and specifications to suppliers
- Evaluate quality and effectiveness of existing packaging; addressing supplier issues caused by manufacturing defects
- Troubleshooting Technical Problems: Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing environment.
- Packaging: Knowledge of packaging tools, approaches and practices; ability to package products and components safely and attractively.
- Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Service Excellence: Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in technical field or equivalent experience
- Understanding of Aftermarket Parts Network
- Corrugated packaging industry experience or related technical field
