- You will perform evaluations and provide personalized therapeutic recreational programs to restore, remediate or rehabilitate a patients physical, mental and emotional well-being.
- You will participate in rounding and proactively respond to patient needs to improve patient outcomes and positively impact overall patient experience.
- You will document patient activities and progress, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment and modify it as necessary to improve treatment outcomes.
- Bachelors Degree in Therapeutic Recreation
- One year experience working in therapeutic recreation programs preferred
- Current CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist),
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) through AHA (American Heart Association)
- Current CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) required within 60 days of hire in Behavioral Health Unit
- Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills; ability to read/comprehend written instructions; ability to follow verbal instructions; PC skills.
