Location: Memphis, TennesseeWhat you will be doing:Work with Project Manager in preparation of project schedule and work sequencing.Develop and implement recovery strategies to maintain project schedule.Become thoroughly familiar with the plans, specifications, contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, daily correspondence, shop drawings, and all documents related to the project.Understand and enforce company safety policies.Conduct meetings with subcontractors and others as appropriate in order to inform, coordinate and direct work.Assure accurate completion of all documentation including safety reports, payroll preparation, labor unit report.Supervise and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and/or Interns.Communicate with owners and architects/engineers regarding any issues that arise in the field. Investigate and resolve such issues.Inspect the work of employees and subcontractors to ensure construction conforms to requirements of the Contract Documents and the quality needed to build repeat business.Oversee and make decisions related to the performance of work related to scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control and trade employee staffing levels.Oversee work among trades to promote coordinated project operations. Resolving problems regarding procedures, precedence, design clarifications, adequate labor and equipment schedule and all other appropriate matters.What you must have:Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering is preferred10 plus years of progressively responsible experience on Commercial Construction Projects and management of field personnel.
