Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Engineer in Smithfield, RI. Duties Include:
Exploring new technology products and using them to help our business needs
Working on teams to improve productivity
Delivering system automation by setting up continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required with 8+ years of experience
3-4 years of recent experience in Python development
Working knowledge of ETL tools (Informatica and Snaplogic) and Snowflake
Working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting
Experience with Oracle PL/SQL and development of stored procedures
Proven data analysis skills
Experience in working with AWS
Financial Industry experience is a must
Proven ability to deal with ambiguity and work in fast paced environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams in the organization
Passion and intellectually curiosity to learn new technologies and business areas
Good to have - Working experience with some or all of the following: AWS, Containerization, associated build and deployment CI/CD pipelines, Lambda development
Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Maven, Jenkins, Stash, Ansible, Docker) is a plus
Experience in Agile methodologies (Kanban and SCRUM) is a plus
