Schedule: Monday-FridayGENERAL PURPOSE SUMMARY
Provides advanced clerical and administrative support within the bank, directly assisting at least one manager/supervisor by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Performs advanced clerical and administrative functions, often of a confidential or sensitive nature; composes correspondence, develops and maintains extensive spreadsheets and databases, creates forms and templates, and prepares and formats documents using multiple software programs for supervisor's presentations and reports.
- Manages special work area-specific projects; compiles and summarizes data, performs analysis, and creates reports for supervisor's review. Responsible for maintaining administrative support procedures, and implementing approved process and procedural changes as directed by supervisor.
- Functions as personal assistant to at least one manager/supervisor; schedules and coordinates meeting facilities and equipment, makes travel arrangements, and maintains the central task and event calendar. May attend and participate in meetings on supervisor's behalf as required, and is responsible for producing and distributing meeting minutes to appropriate personnel.
- Assists with the work area budget process; maintains records of expenditures, ensures proper general ledger coding, analyzes variances, and reports to supervisor.
- Responds to internal and external customer requests for information, and maintains awareness of subject matter experts within the work area and the bank for effective referral.
- May review lower level administrative employees' work, and provide training and guidance to less experienced employees in the work area.
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Stay up to date on relevant laws and regulations and complete all compliance training on time.
- Knowledgeable of and comply with bank policies, procedures, laws and regulations that apply to you and your job.
- Maintain customer confidence and protect the bank's operations by identifying and protecting confidential information.

Minimum: Associate degree in a business-related field and two years related administrative experience, or three years advanced-level clerical, administrative, or related banking experience; or equivalent combination of education/training and experience.
Preferred: Additional business-related coursework. Financial industry experience. Familiarity with area of bank position is located.SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Ability to keyboard 45 wpm and operate a 10-key calculator; word-processing, scheduling, spreadsheet, presentation software, and database experience required.LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and the general public.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.REASONING SKILLS:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract variables.
