Description :ITU AbsorbTech is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our 2nd shift team in Neenah, WI.In this role, you will:
  • Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and machinery
  • Repairing electrical equipment
  • Disassembling devices to remove defective parts
  • Inspecting potential defective parts to detect wear and failure
  • Inspecting suspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements
  • Adjusting functional equipment and machine parts and controls
  • Generating purchase order for parts and machines
  • Repairing or replacing defective parts
  • Installing appropriate machine guarding devices and unique functional and structural parts in devices
  • Testing device performance to assure safe operation of repaired equipment and machinery
  • Performing all preventative maintenance
  • Completing work order to document all work performed
  • Setting up and operating equipment as needed to perform maintenance and diagnostics
Pay: $24-$28 an hour, based on experience. $0.50 shift differential for 2nd shift.2nd Shift Schedule: 12pm-8:30pm; Monday-Friday. Occasional weekends as needed.Education and Experience:Associates’ Degree (or current enrollment in a technical school) in Facilities Maintenance (or similar) and 1-3 years’ related experience in maintenance or mechanical repair is required; or equivalent in related experience. Incumbent must be detail-oriented, dependable, and have a positive attitude.Our benefits include:
