- Bachelor's degree preferred. Salesforce Administrator Certification or at least 3 years' experience configuring or testing Salesforce Lightning in Sales Cloud required. Equivalent combination of education and experience might be considered.
- Proficiency required in Salesforce administrative skills, such as user and profile management, custom objects, page layouts, record pages, flows, validation rules, reports and dashboards
- Understanding of the Salesforce data model, Security model and practical knowledge in importing, exporting and cleaning data required
- Ability to translate user requirements into project scope and test scenarios required
- Familiarity with org-based or package development models preferred
- Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
- Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
- Good understanding of Salesforce integrations: REST and Bulk APIs
- Strong data management abilities
- Teamwork/Collaboration: Support team members by establishing effective interpersonal relationships, and cross functional partnering
- Job Knowledge: Clearly demonstrates a good grasp of key job functions, relevant terminology, technical processes and standards
- Communication: Excellent communication skills needed to work with Technical Team, management and end-users. Attention to details and strong writing skills
- Work closely with stakeholders, admins and end users to define requirements for internal applications and process improvements primarily related to Salesforce.com and shepherd those initiatives through build, UAT, and release
- Provide frontline support of the platform, resolving issues & handling requests as they surface
- Create and manage reports and dashboards for all levels of the organization
- Complete general administrative tasks such as user administration and customizing apps, objects, layouts and fields
- Collaborate in the planning, design, development, testing and deployment of new and improved apps, integrations, automation and other enhancements
- Meet with decision makers and end users to gather, understand and define/document requirements and goals
- Provide feedback to contribute to business logic and improvements to user experience, navigation, and design
- Work collaboratively or independently according to the scope of the project
- Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, debugs, implements, maintains, integrates, customizes and enhances existing or new systems
- Applies appropriate Agile or development methodologies, system development lifecycles, tools, and technology
- Automates the handoff of code releases from development to operations (DevOps)
- Participates in the change management and service ticket management processes including receiving, resolution monitoring, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Builds strong working understanding of the solution being delivered
- Ensures user satisfaction by providing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely resolution of more complex problems
- Designs, develops, and tests experimental application work to test new ideas with bounded cost and time frames
- Ensures that applications processes are conducted in line with corporate social responsibility, security, compliance, environmental, and technical policies and applicable standards and legislation
- Acts as liaison with regulatory agencies, vendors, and contractors on matters relating to computer systems as required
- Defines metrics and monitors Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for systems being developed
