- Support the General Manager and catering attendant team in ordering, compliance regulation, client satisfaction, training, and employee motivation
- Communicate with Catering clients to enter and confirm orders
- Collaborate with client Hospitality team to organize outside catering deliveries and set ups
- Oversee daily lunch service, entering monthly menu orders, checking production quantities weekly and confirming daily deliveries are accurate, maintaining high level of service at all times, and tracking sales and waste daily to share with client
- Serve as a wealth of knowledge and Savory brand ambassador on all food and beverage offerings to educate guests and team members
- Embody Savory’s core hospitality standards at every turn, externally with our guests and internally with teammates while maintaining a strong sense of professionalism
- Communicate dynamically, both internally and externally with all levels of both organizations: upper management, associates, clients, and back-of-house culinary team
- Other duties as assigned to facilitate smooth and efficient daily catering operations and support the needs of the team when catering is slow
- At least 2 years of experience in a food and beverage environment in a supervisor or trainer role
- Proven ability to anticipate guest needs and multitask prioritizing and delegating tasks as needed to ensure success
- Must be organized and able to utilize systems to maximize efficiency, (ability to recognize need for structure and create it if missing is a plus).
- Knowledge of Department of Health food safety best practices
- Quick thinking and conflict resolution skills
- A warm personality, honest values, and the ability to motivate a team
- Ability to remain patient and calm in a high-volume environment
- NY Food Handler’s Certification or willingness to obtain within one month of start date
- Ability to walk and stand throughout entire shift
- Capable of repeatedly lifting and moving up to 25 lbs
