Location:
  • Primarily in Southeastern Michigan
  • Occasional out-of-state travel possible
Overview:
This is an entry-level, hands-on technical position for individuals interested in learning and applying robotic programming skills in the manufacturing industry.🔧 Primary Responsibilities:
  • Set up and program industrial robots on customer job sites
  • Perform robotic path and position touchups
  • Teach and verify TCPs (Tool Center Points) and frames
  • Load and adjust offline programs
  • Adjust robot dress packs to prevent wear and rubbing
  • Duplicate robotic configurations (axis limits, hard stops, etc.) across multiple units
  • Back up robot programs
  • Submit billing and documentation paperwork accurately
  • Use Microsoft Office applications to complete reports and forms
  • Follow safety protocols and work effectively both independently and on a team
🧠 Ideal Background (Crossover Skills May Include):
  • FIRST Robotics experience
  • Computer programming
  • Automotive repair or fabrication
  • Electrical or mechanical systems
  • Design/build experience
💼 Job Conditions & Expectations:
  • Long periods of standing and movement in/around machinery
  • Climbing ladders regularly
  • Lifting up to 25 lbs and loading parts into tooling
  • Ability to work varying shifts including overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable transportation is required
  • Weekly time reporting required
