This includes end-to-end survey submission completion, including working in the IRT system. The Clinical Quality Consultant is responsible for NCQA Health Plan requirements and for developing plans and programs to support continuous quality improvement.You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for developing and preparing documentation for NCQA Health Plan survey submissions
  • Works closely with quality staff, health plan staff, and internal business partners to build and document compliance with accreditation standards
  • Complete quality improvement reports that provide analysis of data related to key quality projects
  • Serves as a technical advisor for accreditation compliance
  • Organizes and/or participates in readiness assessments in preparation for accreditation survey submissions
  • Solves complex problems and develops innovative solutions
  • Interfaces with accreditation agencies and other regulatory and compliance bodies
  • Participates in the development and distribution of health plan accreditation best practices
  • Develops policies and procedures that support quality and accreditation activities
  • Supports implementation of quality structure at regional and national levels.

  • 2+ years of experience and solid knowledge of managed care and market regulatory requirements related to health plan quality
  • 2+ years of experience with NCQA accreditation standards in a managed care plan
  • Proficiency in Microsoft basic with Excel and Word, Intermediate with PowerPoint
  • Proven excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Proven solid oral and written communication skills
  • Proven solid interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualification:
  • Knowledge of Individual and Family Plan (IFP) Exchanges

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
