As a result of our continuing expansion and continued organizational growth, we are looking for a motivated MRO Inventory Controller to join our team.Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for:
- Implement improvement projects at department locations with guidance from supervisor.
- Help create and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for preproduction and material handing operations.
- Perform audits of department areas, operations, and inventory records.
- Work with vendors to coordinate the delivery of material and address discrepancies.
- Help coordinate the flow of material between company production facilities and warehouses.
- Proactively identify and resolve material issues with projects in production.
- Schedule preproduction assembly work to align with master schedule priorities and dates.
- Work with Purchasing to source material for projects.
- Work with shop floor personnel to ensure that projects are being completed according to schedule.
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years work experience or college degree in a relevant field
- Experience in electrical material supply chain preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must have valid driver's license and vehicle. Travel between GPC facilities will be required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to work in a team environment or solo interchangeably
