Employment Type: Full-timeAbout the Role:We’re seeking a Civil Engineer Associate (EIT) with 2–5 years of experience in urban stormwater management to join a collaborative, growth-focused team in Northwest Austin. In this role, you’ll contribute to impactful infrastructure projects—many of which are for the City of Austin—focused on flood control, drainage systems, and water quality improvements.This is a great opportunity to expand your technical skill set while working alongside a supportive team of experienced engineers on projects that directly benefit your community.What You’ll Do:Support stormwater infrastructure projects for City of Austin initiatives and other public clientsAssist in the design and analysis of drainage systems, detention basins, water quality features, and flood control measuresUse HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and other modeling tools for hydraulic and hydrologic analysisCreate construction documents and exhibits using Civil 3D, MicroStation, and ArcMapPerform site visits, analyze topographic data, and assist in report preparationCollaborate with engineers and project managers across multiple disciplinesGrow in technical knowledge, project exposure, and public sector experienceWhat We’re Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required)EIT certification (required)2–5 years of civil engineering experience with a focus on stormwater, drainage, or water qualityWorking knowledge of HEC modeling systems (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, etc.)Experience with Civil 3D, MicroStation, and/or ArcMap (preferred)A collaborative attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to growWhy Join Us:Direct involvement in City of Austin public infrastructure projectsCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits packageSupportive team environment with mentorship and professional developmentHands-on experience that advances your skills and builds your resume
