
National Director of Procurement and Supply Chain

- Develop and implement a national supply chain strategy tied to company goals.
- Lead scalability initiatives to support entry into new markets and regions.
- Build workforce development and career pathing programs to strengthen talent
- Oversee vendor selection, contracts, and negotiations at national and regional levels.
- Standardize procurement policies and compliance frameworks.
- Monitor supplier scorecards for cost, delivery, and service performance.
- Ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality acquisition of materials, equipment, and
- Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with project timelines, budget
- Regular monitoring of staff production, focus on priorities and deliverables for the
- Manage logistics, warehousing, and distribution strategies.
- Partner with Pre-Job Planning to align logistics and material delivery with site
- Mitigate risks tied to supply disruptions and commodity volatility.
- Develop and maintain a centralized material database across service lines.
- Ensure integration with ERP, estimating, and project management tools.
- Create and maintain SOPs and work instructions across procurement and supply
- Partner with Training to deliver targeted training for Project Management, Field, and
- Monitor adherence to processes and continuously refine standards.
- Track commodity trends, forecast pricing, and manage cost-spending models.
- Work closely with Finance, Operations, Technology, and Pre-Job Planning
- Build relationships with national and regional suppliers to foster collaboration.
- Mentor teams and align organizational design with future growth strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related equivalent field or
- 12+ years of leadership in procurement/supply chain with national or multi-site scope.
- Proven experience in ERP/digital procurement systems, vendor agreements,
- Proven experience in ERP.
- Experience building material databases and integrating them across enterprise
- Strong leadership, negotiation, financial acumen, and communication skills. * Some travel will be required for this position.
- If driving is required, a valid driver’s license and proof of insurability is required. All
- Consistent cost savings and commodity risk mitigation.
- Accurate, dependable, and widely used material database across service lines.
- Vendor performance improvements across cost, quality, delivery, and service.
- Adoption of SOPs and successful rollout of related training initiatives
- Effective collaboration with Pre-Job Planning to improve planning and field productivity.
- Supply chain team development, retention, and readiness for scalability.
