Job Category: Asset ProtectionJob Description: Position Summary:Responsible for analyzing Pharmacy Data in the LPA application for the Enterprise. Responsible for monitoring certain controlled drug orders sent to Pharmacies from warehouses. Effectively utilize Systems and resources to identify patterns, trends, and exceptions in Pharmacy Data. Responsible for interfacing with various Internal groups and Division personnel to provide Pharmacy Reporting on Inventory shortages and ordering. Provide Support and Documentation to Division loss prevention staff and/or Pharmacy merchandisers on all Pharmacy investigations/cases. Essential Job Functions:
  • Monitor and capture Pharmacy Data exceptions primarily using the RX Loss Prevention Analysis (LPA) System.
  • Monitor and investigate certain control drug orders of interest utilizing the Suspicious Order Monitoring Program and Division resources prior to releasing the order to the warehouse for completion.
  • Assist in activities related to the Implementation, Maintenance, Support, design, and feedback of Pharmacy loss prevention Projects and Logistics Suspicious Order Monitoring Program for the Enterprise.
  • Monitor the adherence of Pharmacy and Logistics policies, standards and Procedures as they pertain to Pharmacy Processes and Customer transactions for signs of potential theft and shrink and Suspicious Order Monitoring.
  • CrEate and analyze exception Reporting to identify and Support Internal investigations.
  • Communicate with Division investigators on a daily basis.
  • Partner with the MAX team to confirm fraudulent Pharmacy activity.
  • Analyze and monitor transactional activity in Kroger Co. Divisions for trends and exceptions.
  • Investigate transactions and open and forward case information to Divisional investigators.
  • Develop Reporting formats and structures to Support field LP Managers and investigative staff.
  • Take incoming calls to verify transactions and confirm fraud.
  • Responsible for statistical Reporting of case information.

Qualifications:
Desired Previous Job Experience:
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician, CPhT. strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Loss Prevention/Security background or education.
  • PC Fluency
Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • 3 years experience with Pharmacy Retail prescription Systems.
  • Kroger Retail Pharmacy experience at Division and/or Store level.
  • Motivated self-starter; works well with others with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to successfully interact with Internal Customers, team members and management.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills. High level of initiative; inquisitive and probing nature.
  • Ability to work weekends on a regular basis.
  • Ability to work overtime on an occasional basis.
  • Ability to work any shift.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft office Applications.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
