Sr. Brand Marketing ManagerWork Mode: HybridLocation: Hybrid at Kohler, WIOpportunityThe Senior Brand Marketing Manager, KOHLER Kitchen & Bath North America is responsible for leading, developing, and executing focused integrated marketing brand campaigns. This includes leading both national and market specific brand campaigns and new product launches to increase penetration of Kohler Brand products in North America. They evaluate, prioritize, and align strategies, timing and creative messaging in accordance with Kohler Co., market share, profitability, brand equity and revenue goals ensuring a cohesive brand strategy across all touch points.Primary Objectives

  • Creating a brand-building plan that wins big-bets in market.
  • Acting as the dot connector & thought leader on integration across all categories, channels & touchpoints.
  • Being self-starter thinkers & doers who drive the brand vision & are accountable for brand/business results.
  • Striving towards becoming best-in-class brand management and marketing generalist.
Specific Responsibilities
  • Leads cross functional channel & communications teams to achieve brand and sales objectives by delivering brand building annual marketing plans that meet both brand, marketing, and financial objectives for the assigned campaign/category/partner/activation/trade show.
  • Communicates Business needs to Communications/External partners by way of Business Cases and Project Requests in a timely manner focusing on KPIs, Consumer needs and Budgets.
  • Performing business & competitive analysis, and driving strategic assessment, category positioning and storytelling for internal and external stake holders.
  • Serves as the day-to-day business owner with internal and external creative, pr and media agencies for assigned campaign/partner/category/activation
  • Acts as liaison between Category Management (product teams, industrial design, engineering, program management) & External and internal communication agencies
  • Ensures brand touchpoints are consistent with overarching brand strategies and standards throughout all sales channels & media touchpoints.
  • Streamlines communications and workflow by leading omni channel national campaigns, partnerships, product launches, experiences.
  • Understands Consumer journey throughout assigned category/campaign/partner and ensures omni channel integration to deliver the best experience for the consumer target.
  • Leads content development and marcomm strategy for new omni channel product launches that drive Vitality and innovation metrics. Partners with Channel, Product and Sales Training to quarterback all needs.
  • Develops, tracks and communicates key leading and lagging performance indicators for the brand/business/campaigns.
  • Evaluates and assigns product launch priorities in Marketing Communications plans based on greatest opportunities to hit financial target, ROI and Brand metrics.
  • Develops annual marketing strategies and core marketing assets across all channels rooted in consumer insights and research.
  • Evaluates competitor promotions and programs for each product group. Apprise business teams of competitor activities and changes in the marketplace.
  • Is knowledgeable about culture, trends, and other Brand best practices to understand how to apply to campaigns within KOHLER
  • Independently meets with sales staff, distributors, plumbers, homebuilders and kitchen and bath experts to determine future marketing needs and actions. Ensure timely adjustments to changing markets and competitive conditions based on acquired field knowledge.
  • Build trust and gains alignment between Communications, KBNA Category Strategy and Channel Marketing organizations.
  • Provides input on new product launch forecasts.
  • Consults on the development of communication tools to aid product training for Kohler and Distributor Sales associates.
  • Manages assigned Campaign Budget(s) to achieve financial objectives and provides support and detailed input into the KBA Communications budget for assigned product category.
  • Monitors the success, impact, and contributions of all programs, communicating successes, failures and next steps to management on a timely basis.
  • Leverage best practice Performance Marketing results in Campaign development and execution.
  • Develops Content for Consumer Events (Live and Virtual) for assigned categories and themes.
  • Provides North American input and approvals on K&B Group Campaigns for assigned categories to ensure the voice of North America is captured in Content development.
  • Mentors Analysts, Associate Managers and Managers. Acts as Lead for assigned special projects.
Skills/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent. MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of marketing or Brand Management experience at Consumer Goods, Home, Lifestyle or Luxury brand teams/organizations.
  • Demonstrated leadership cross functionally with strong ability to influence complex organizations by building full trust from leaders, peers, and teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, think creatively, innovate and plan with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for internal and external audiences.
  • Experience in classical Brand Management with exposure to all aspects of marketing across NPD, Media management, Creative/Content briefing & development, Performance Marketing, Brand Strategy development, Integrated GTM, Campaigns & Programming preferred.
  • Travel to trade shows, customer visits and training as needed, partner meetings, approximately 20% annually.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
