As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and clients. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. This is an armed post, requiring you to maintain a high level of professionalism and readiness at all times. You will utilize your communication skills to deliver exceptional customer service, assist with inquiries, and respond to situations as they arise. Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist visitors, clients, and/or employees at the front desk, providing a professional and welcoming presence.
Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required by site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and/or incident reports as required.
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters or concerns.
Support emergency response activities as directed by site-specific protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through attentive observation and adherence to security-related procedures.

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

Level III Armed Certification for Texas is required.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
Experience in customer service is preferred.
Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Possession of an armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
