
Security Officer - Armed Site - Front Desk

- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and/or employees at the front desk, providing a professional and welcoming presence.
- Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required by site-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and/or incident reports as required.
- Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters or concerns.
- Support emergency response activities as directed by site-specific protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through attentive observation and adherence to security-related procedures.
- Availability across various days and shifts
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
- Level III Armed Certification for Texas is required.
- Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
- Experience in customer service is preferred.
- Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Possession of an armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
