- Operational Efficiency: Oversee internal manufacturing systems and processes that support the effective delivery of services to children and families. Ensure optimal operational performance and continuous improvement.
- Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to develop, implement, and maintain efficient systems, workflows, and processes across operations to support organizational growth and effectiveness.
- Evaluate Workflow & Production Costs: Monitor operational workflows, production methods, staffing efficiency, and costs. Recommend and implement improvements to optimize performance, reduce waste, and manage costs.
- Staff Leadership & Development: Manage and motivate a team of managers and staff. Oversee staffing, scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Budgeting & Financial Oversight: Develop, implement, and monitor budgets and financial goals in each division to achieve company objectives. Forecast and control costs to ensure financial targets are met.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all operations comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols. Foster a culture of safety and accountability within the workplace.
- Reporting: Prepare and present operational, financial, and staff-related reports to senior leadership and the board of directors. Maintain transparency and alignment with organizational goals.
- Communication: Communicate changes, directives, and new policies to managers and staff. Lead coordination across departments to ensure alignment of efforts and smooth business processes.
- Customer Service Improvement: Drive improvements in customer service and satisfaction through operational changes and policy adjustments.
- Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce inefficiencies, enhance productivity, and drive ongoing process improvements.
- Leadership & Communication: Superior verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and managerial skills.
- Process Optimization: Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations management, including workflow optimization, cost control, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Problem-Solving & Decision Making: Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Technology Proficiency: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Staff Development: Ability to lead teams, develop high-performing staff, and foster a positive organizational culture.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an operations leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in nonprofit or service-oriented sectors is a plus.
- Preferred Certifications:
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
