- Performing protective services investigations and maintaining a caseload of vulnerable older adults who need protection from abuse, exploitation, abandonment, or self-neglect
- Participating in training new staff members
- Assisting in the development of training programs and program monitoring tools
- Coordinating, monitoring, and following up on After Hours On-Call Program
- Receiving and screening Reports of Need for Protective Service
- Providing technical assistance regarding Act 13 referrals and the follow-up process for reporting abuse in facilities
- Giving informational presentations, specifically Act 13 information, to various audiences such as: Older Adult Protection Service Association (OAPSA) and Protective Services agencies
- Participating in public relations and other DHS/AAA sponsored activities
- Completing, organizing, and maintaining documentation, logs, records, and written reports
- Coordinating and participating in case conferencing with other law enforcement, legal, behavioral health, and social services professionals to resolve challenging or complex cases
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Aging Care Manager 2 or Aging Program Assessor; or
- One and one-half years of professional human services, law enforcement, or nursing experience; and a bachelor's degree in social sciences, behavioral sciences, human services, or a closely related field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes six months of professional human services, law enforcement, or nursing experience.
