- Evaluate each client’s beauty needs
- Prepare equipment and necessary products to perform services
- Treat clients safely and effectively using the appropriate techniques that meet their needs (manicures, pedicures, gel polishing, Gel-X extensions application, gel soak-off, etc.)
- Cosmetologists will also perform waxing and facials
- Provide added value to clients with suggestions for proper nail/skin care, stress relief, and overall wellness maintenance
- Recommend additional products or services that may benefit the client
- Build positive relationships with clients and team members to create a pleasant work environment
- Ohio State Board of Cosmetology Licensure as a Cosmetologist or Nail Technician/Manicurist
- Completion of an approved Cosmetology, Nail Technician, or Manicurist course
- Proficiency in nail procedures and proper skincare
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
