- Ensure baking center equipment, facilities, and ingredients are clean, sanitized, and sterile according to safety, product and quality standards
- Assist Supervisor in training and development and performance management
- Ensure SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures) are following for all processes / equipment
- Ensure that all workers on sanitation teams are trained and adhere to the company’s GMPs and HACCP / food safety procedures
- Provide knowledge of chemical mixes and MSDS and oversee team members’ use of chemicals and proper safety procedures
- Proactively identify sanitation inconsistencies and work towards resolutionSanitation Lead Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in foodservice and/or manufacturing strongly desired
- Strong math skills
- Able to read and speak English
- Able to delegate and work alongside team members
- Good interpersonal skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Able to lift 75 pounds repeatedly
- Comfortable standing, lifting and bending for the duration of an entire shift
