WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking compassionate Respiratory Therapists to join our dynamic staffing team for a 13-week contract at a local hospital campus. In this role, you will provide a range of therapeutic and diagnostic services to patients with respiratory issues, working closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.   • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of New York.
  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of respiratory care procedures and protocols, WILL ADMINISTOR positive pressure and aerosol therapy and need recent acute setting experience
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as necessary.
