This is a contingent part time, non-benefitted position. The incumbent will work 20 hours a week for $18.00/hour.This position provides crisis intervention and follow-up services to victims of violent crime in Howard County.The selected candidate will enter data; develop/update victim services related brochures; direct victim contact to explain the criminal justice process; identify and refer available community resources; assist with case-related activities; and serve as liaison between victims and investigating officers.The selected candidate must pass a background investigation.Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience in law enforcement, community services, social services, or victim assistance.Excellent written and oral communications skills.
