- Conduct on-site or in-house calibration and repair of equipment to ensure it meets Rohde & Schwarz' high standards of performance
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and performs repairs
- Responsible for evaluation and completion of complex data reports
- Represent the company in a customer support role and is responsible for customer's satisfaction with equipment and servicing
- Accurately prepare daily logs and reports of work performed, including hours spent and inventory used for each assignment
- Assigned projects are moderately complex, requiring some independent action
- Effectively communicate with customers in a professional business environment

- 3+ years technical experience
- Understanding of RF concepts and devices
- Basic understanding of IP Networking and proper network configuration principles
- Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with terminal applications such as Tera Term is helpful
- Can effectively use standard professional software such as Microsoft Office products
- Ability to travel a minimum of 50%, primarily domestic travel with occasional international travel
- Available to support an on-call schedule and respond to on- demand travel for service actions
- Strong preference for someone located in proximity to Milpitas, CA for supporting in-house service
- Must be capable of lifting up to 75 pounds
- External candidates must be current US residents with valid work authorization to be considered
