This is a full-time, onsite role located in Camp Springs, MD, requiring senior-level or SME-level skills in software development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building automation solutions and implementing emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency in mission-critical environments.Location: Camp Springs, MD (Onsite) Clearance Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen and have a favorably adjudicated background investigationKey Responsibilities:
  • Provide senior-level or SME-level support in software development for automation, orchestration, and AIOps initiatives.
  • Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
  • Analyze user needs and design software solutions that optimize operational efficiency.
  • Customize software for client-specific use, including database analysis and design.
  • Lead and coordinate with technical teams to support software development lifecycle activities.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams to support real-time monitoring, incident response, root cause analysis, and large-scale system upgrades/migrations.
  • Assist in implementing emerging technologies, including AI, to drive proactive issue resolution and continuous improvement.
  • May supervise junior developers and serve as a technical advisor on automation solutions.
Required Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Favorably adjudicated background investigation commensurate with the sensitivity level of the role.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on software development and deployment.
  • Proven experience in a lead or Subject Matter Expert (SME) role.
  • Certification in at least one of the following areas: Software Development, Automation and Orchestration, AIOps, or an equivalent discipline.
