- PD Direct Responsible Individual (DRI) for multiple system components (housings, PCBs, thermal components, etc).
- Work with cross functional team to solve difficult electromechanical problems to enable the design.
- Identify key design constrains and priorities.
- Demonstrate solid mechanical fundamentals and judgement through design decisions
- Deliver robust, flexible, durable, and performant designs
- Concise and accurate communication with PD members, cross functional teams, and executives.
- Customer focused when solving ambiguous problems.
- Ability to create scalable solutions while solving tactical problems.
- 3+ years of experience product design (consumer, medical, telecom, etc)
- 3+ years of experience with 3D CAD modeling & 2D drawing creation
- Experience with designing for high volume manufacturing and assembly processes (plastic injection / thermoforming, casting, sheet metal, machining, various finishing processes)
- Experience performing tolerance analysis and statistical analysis techniquesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - MS in Mechanical Engineering or other closely related engineering field of study.
- 5+ years of experience in consumer electronics products designing IP66 outdoor rated electronics/telecommunications products.
- Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), flexes and electrical interconnect design experience
- Experience performing mechanical and thermal Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulations
- Subject Matter Expert in several mechanical engineering disciplines.
- Experience with Phase Array antennas including products used in the field.
- Excellent mechanics and material fundamentals

The base pay for this position ranges from $105,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
