SuperintendentJob DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Superintendent of Construction who will play a vital role in scheduling subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely project completion. The successful candidate will oversee the execution of subcontractor tasks, lead subcontractor meetings, and perform quality control checks. They will also identify construction process conflicts and ensure compliance with local township requirements and safety standards.Responsibilities
  • Schedule over 20 subcontractors, consultants, and vendors on the critical path for timely project completion.
  • Ensure subcontractors execute their scope of work, correcting deficiencies as identified by the project team.
  • Lead subcontractor and preconstruction meetings to coordinate work effectively.
  • Perform quality control checks on completed work.
  • Identify conflicts and issues in the construction process and communicate them to the project team for resolution.
  • Communicate issues, material submittals, and Requests for Information (RFIs) with the project team.
  • Maintain a daily log of activities on the job site using daily reporting software.
  • Ensure compliance with local township requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site.
  • Ensure all subcontractors comply with OSHA and company safety standards.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in construction management and commercial construction.
  • Proficiency in subcontractor management.
  • Experience with commercial fit-out projects.
  • Ability to lead fast-paced commercial renovation and new-build projects.
  • Knowledge of safety and quality control standards.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
