- Welcome clients and provide assistance with financial inquiries, applications, and forms.
- Conduct initial screenings and assessments to determine client eligibility for financial services.
- Gather relevant financial information from clients, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
- Provide information and guidance to clients on available financial assistance programs, resources, and options.
- Explain financial terms, procedures, and requirements to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
- Educate clients on financial literacy topics, such as budgeting, saving, and credit management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, documentation, and files.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to client data and confidentiality.
- Prepare and process client applications, forms, and paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and internal departments or external agencies as needed.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Follow up with clients to provide updates on the status of their applications or requests.
- Perform data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks to support the intake process.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and follow-up activities as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the intake process.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Social Work, or related field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in financial services, customer service, or related field.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to handle sensitive client situations with compassion and discretion.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data entry software.
- Knowledge of financial assistance programs, regulations, and eligibility criteria is a plus.
