Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.Tasks and Qualifications:This position is for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our global Research & Development team in Holland, Michigan. The key responsibilities of this role are:Working closely within a cross-functional R&D team to design, implement, and execute both exploratory and automated tests to ensure product meets quality standards.Conduct testing for products before product launches/releases to ensure the product fulfills system requirements and is robust for use.Review system requirements and track and report quality assurance metrics.Involvement in the full software life cycle including Analysis, Build, Testing, Integration, Release, and Support activities.Working in an international environment collaborating with global agile development teams.Qualifications:Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject.Minimum 5 years of technical hands-on proven experience in a quality assurance role.Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, test types, and processes.Experience with scripting and one or more automated testing tools - Selenium, Cypress, Jasmine, etc.Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.Experience designing, implementing, and delivering QA activities for complex, interconnected solutions with multiple subsystems.Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.Experience in the logistics industry, warehouse automation, or material handling would be a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.Exceptional ability to work both autonomously and with cross-functional teams to build partnerships and get things done.A good understanding of Agile software development and Testing principles and practices.Ability to work well within a team environment.Open to continuous innovation and learning.Occasional travel may be required - up to 25% (including international).
