Our client is looking for a growth-oriented up-and-coming Superintendent for an exciting project and long-term growth with the organization. The Superintendent II should be self-motivated and able to operate undependable while also being capable of being lead and developed further, as this person reports to and is supported by the Senior Superintendent.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project

  • Proven experience with ground-up Commercial projects
  • 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent / Assistant Superintendent is required
  • Ability to read and understand plans.
  • Ability to travel throughout Alabama long-term
  • Capable of problem solving and experience with complex detailed projects.
  • Ability to work with subcontractors, suppliers, utilities, city inspectors, organize and direct activities concerned with their construction projects.
  • Technical savvy individual - Procore is utilized onsite
  • Candidate should be able to operate independently while utilizing Senior Superintendent for support and guidance when needed
  • Desire to grow with the company
