- You will assist in providing direct patient care as directed by health care practitioner
- You will engage your critical thinking skills in maintaining a safe, therapeutic and aesthetic environment.
- You will utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols
- Collaborate with the team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction
- Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and other members of the health care team
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Washington state certification/licensure as a CNA or NA-R, or successful completion of EMT Training Course
- EMT will be required to obtain NA-R within ninety 90) days of hire
- Medical Assistant-Registered Certification (must apply within seven (7) days of hire
- Must obtain Medical Assistant-Registered Certification within sixty (60) days
- MA-P credential may be accepted in lieu of MA-R, per department requirements
- Current CPR Certification
- Previous experience as a CNA, NA-R, corpsman, or EMT, in an emergency department, pre-hospital, or acute care setting within the last three (3) years
