- Perform Project Manager (PM) duties i.e., create project schedules; release plans; work breakdown structure (WBS); facilitate continuous decomposition session through planning sessions; build resource plans; establish project budgets and monitor expense; all while driving for timely project completion.
- Mentor and develop employees through training and coaching to improve performance, knowledge transfer, enhance skills, and employee retention in the accomplishment of organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide technology experience, project management, and management abilities to facilitate and execute network and telecommunications in support of company goals and objectives.
- Foster detailed technical and operational discussions to promote teamwork and problem solving that occur as result of regulatory compliance, operational changes, or corporate projects.
- Assist department leadership in development of the department's short and longer-term roadmap.
- Assist with procurement and oversee installation, management, inventory, and life-cycle maintenance of the network and telecom equipment.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with internal and external customers to solve network and telecommunications operations issues.
- Research and monitor the technology marketplace for new trends, potential benefits, upgrades, and improvements to participate in recommendation and selection of vendors and tools.
- Engage in team and department resource planning, maintain work models, perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Comply with the organizations change management system to record operational and system changes for approval, transparency, and historical purposes.
- Facilitate cross-training with other technology teams.
- Manage and support the administration and maintenance of data network hardware and software, network security devices, internet and telecommuter connectivity, client/server applications, communication systems, and related information and office automation systems and networking hardware or software.
- Manage and support the corporate telecommunications systems to include the Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) network, configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and dependent software applications.
- Collaboratively define, with the Information Security team, the organization's internet security using network firewalls, internet content filtering software, intrusion prevention systems, and other current network security techniques using the latest technology.
- Develop predictable and reliable architectural technology designs that facilitate easy and secure access from remote and internal users, quick and efficient troubleshooting and support, and a solid disaster recovery approach.
- Review and manage operational and technical documentation for the physical and logical network, various client/server solutions, disaster recovery efforts, and other areas as needed.
- Telecommunications, Supervisor, Leader, Operations, Infrastructure, Network, Healthcare, Technology, Project Manager
- Master's degree in computer science or related field preferred.
- PMI, Project Management Professional (PMP) trained.
- Agile Alliance Scrum Master certification.
- Ability to think tactically and the ability to create messaging to influence desired outcomes.
- Ability to mentor and coach team and make decisions to accomplish team objectives.
- Able to lead, manage, conclude, and recommend using data and experience driven decisions.
- Proven track record of successful project and program leadership
