Position SummaryTo develop, constantly improve and execute the finished good scheduling process within JD Edwards and Greycon. Provide analysis of the finished goods inventory for the respective site(s). Work with materials management function(s) relating to planning, purchasing, scheduling, storing, and distribution of materials and products to meet the manufacturing/Distribution center objectives and customer requirements. Is responsible for the development and constant improvement of the finishing scheduling process. Analysis of the finished goods inventory. Order materials, loading, and managing the production schedule for the manufacturing/Distribution center to ensure high on-time delivery and operational efficiency. Effectively performing these assigned duties will result in maximizing capacity and productivity while minimizing costs.Required Experience:o Minimum two years of experience in similar roles in a manufacturing environmento Ability to work independently and be self-motivated in identifying and addressing process improvements.o Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, to work with manufacturing operations personnel.o Ability to train and conduct periodic group meetings on the finishing scheduling process.o Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.o Must have strong time management skills to handle multiple ongoing projects in addition to day-to-day process problems.o Experience in scheduling production machines.o Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Power BI and Excel.o Knowledge of Inventory management.o Experience with manufacturing ERP systems.· Education: High School Diploma/GED· Industry Experience: ManufacturingDuties & Responsibilities· Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities.· Development and constant improvement of the finishing scheduling process. To include Greycon Xtrim expertise and optimization of the help roll process.· Provide analysis using the ERP system and supporting analytical tools (Power BI) for the finished goods in the network.· Prepares daily production schedules and shop orders to meet customer orders while optimizing finished goods inventory levels utilizing customer forecasts.· Distributes production schedules and work orders to departments, including machine priority.· Revises production schedules, when required, due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production, and engineering.· Provides production information, as required, such as production results, material inventories, and customer information, as needed, which could be daily, weekly, or monthly.· Maintains capacity reports.Scope:· Management Responsibilities Level: Facility/Finishing· Physical Requirements: This position requires an employee to stand, walk and sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
