1. High School Diploma.
2. 5+ years working in maintenance.
3. Language Skills: Fluent English • Clear and concise written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills that produce desired results. • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from internal and external customers including sales staff, internal colleagues, and vendors.
5. Capable of reading and interpreting information with the ability to share with others as needed.
6. Ability to use personal computer and standard business and other work-related software with minimum instruction.
7. Ability to read and interpret reports, sales materials, and other related materials.
8. Manage multiple and varied projects simultaneously with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
9. Excellent analytical, research, deductive reasoning, and decision-making abilities.
10. Capable of demonstrating an understanding of and being sensitive to serving a culturally diverse population.
11. Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with professional ethics and standards of practice.
12. Ability to learn and apply new competencies and information to enhance individual job performance and make recommendations to the unit.
13. Excellent time and organizational abilities with the ability to seek assistance in a professional manner.
14. Ability to work and prioritize independently with the capacity to collaborate with others.Duties and Responsibilities:
1. This position supports all manufacturing production and facility equipment during normal operation, performs preventive maintenance on all equipment, and maintains facility in top condition.
2. Routinely inspects and maintains production equipment and installed systems.
3. Performs minor and routine repairs including but not limited to painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
4. Works with outside contractors to maintain heating and air conditioning units for the facility.
5. Assists with the installation and modification of building equipment systems.
6. Creates and maintains up-to-date service and replacement data files for building equipment and machinery.
7. Ability to read and understand an electrical schematic.
8. Communicates need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment to appropriate manager.
9. Responds in a timely fashion to problems related to facility maintenance and repair.
10. Makes recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and/or implement savings opportunities.
11. Inspects buildings, grounds, and equipment of unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.
12. Inspects new installation for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
13. Maintains a clean, safe working environment.
14. Possesses and maintains a high level of competency and efficiency in all aspects of maintenance operations.
15. When maintenance work is not available, this person will work with the supervisors in production areas that need assistance.
16. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
17. While performing the duties of this position the person is regularly required to walk, bend, crouch and successfully demonstrate the ability to write and use a personal computer.
18. Successful performance requires vision abilities to read files, reports, and other work-related forms in both paper and electronic format.
19. Employees in this position may need to regularly lift at least 10 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. occasionally and may need to exert themselves while performing the above-mentioned duties.
20. Ability to drive a car to perform and/or attend work-related functions. Employee will be reimbursed mileage according to the corporate reimbursement schedule if using a personal vehicle for work related purposes. Position may require that employees have their own reliable transportation.
