- Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls
- Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed
- Replace air filters and maintain HVAC systems
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Perform minor repairs on machinery, equipment and tools
- Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions
- Operate floor scrubbers and other equipment
- Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards
- Ability to read, understand and follow instructions, and to code applicable documents
- Check-in with Maintenance Lead for any immediate issues.
- Clean breakroom tables, café counters, café sink, and coffee area.
- Check large trash cans in breakroom and café and change if needed.
- Clean patio tables and ensure entrance area is tidy.
- On Rainy or Snowy days, check entrance areas and mop if needed.
- Stock coffee supplies During Shift Empty warehouse trash cans as needed (over half full)
- Empty warranty department trash Run floor scrubber 4 hours each day.
- Ensure entire warehouse is scrubbed daily.
- Pick up trash near doors outside on trailer lot (20 doors per day, weather permitting, tell yard driver location)
- Clean forklift charging areas.
- Clean around warehouse side of office area.
- Clean locker room Weekly Clean café refrigerator, conference room refrigerator, and office closet refrigerator.
- Clean windows in entryway and driver window.
- Dust dock doors, fans, and lights (20 doors per week).
- Clean emergency exits
- Stock paper near copy machine
- 18 years or older
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Previous custodial and grounds experience preferred
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable squatting, twisting, bending, and kneeling while using tools and performing maintenance tasks
- Possess working knowledge of the methods, technique, and materials used in custodial work
- Ability to climb ladders and work from heights
- Familiar with operating, caring for, and storing custodial equipment and supplies
- Observe and follow health and safety regulations
- Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.
- Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures
- Maintain detailed records of safety incidents
- Assign designated safety personnel
- Maintain warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
