What you’ll do Cross-portfolio responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end solution architecture and technical roadmap across four programs, aligning to enterprise standards, data protection requirements, and shared technology services.
- Pair architecture with hands-on engineering: build PoCs, reference implementations, integration adapters, IaC modules, and CI/CD pipelines to de-risk delivery and accelerate time-to-value.
- Drive build-vs-buy decisions, RFPs, vendor evaluations, and TCO modeling; maximize reuse of existing enterprise platforms and AI capabilities.
- Define non-functional requirements, SLAs/SLOs, and performance/scalability targets; design for resilience, observability, and cost efficiency.
- Embed privacy-by-design and security-by-design: DPIAs, threat modeling, data minimization, encryption/tokenization, DLP, retention/Legal Hold, and auditability.
- Establish data architecture for PII, PCI, and sensitive matter data: classification, lineage, retention, and defensible disposal compliant with GDPR, PIPL, CCPA/CPRA, ISPS, and RIM.
- Lead change management alongside product and legal ops: target operating model, roles/skills, process redesign, training, and adoption metrics.
- Create and maintain solution blueprints, sequence diagrams, integration contracts, data models, and runbooks; mentor teams on best practices.
- 10+ years in solution architecture with 5+ years hands-on solution engineering (you still code when it matters).
- Proven delivery of secure, data-intensive enterprise solutions in legal, compliance, HR, or adjacent regulated domains.
- Strong with one or more clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise SaaS; can design hybrid patterns with private networking, KMS, and secrets management.
- AI/ML literacy including LLM usage patterns: RAG, vector search, embeddings, prompt engineering, evaluation, guardrails, and model/service selection; understanding of AI risks and governance.
- eDiscovery domain familiarity: EDRM phases, TAR/CAL, legal hold, privilege review, defensibility standards.
- Privacy and security: GDPR, PIPL, CCPA/CPRA, RIM, DPIA, data minimization, encryption/tokenization, DLP, least privilege; experience collaborating with Privacy and InfoSec.
- Integration expertise: event-driven architectures, APIs, ETL/ELT, data modeling, streaming, and workflow orchestration.
- Excellent stakeholder management; able to translate legal/compliance needs into technical designs and measurable outcomes.
- Experience with at least two of the following: ServiceNow, Salesforce, Appian/Pega, Microsoft Purview eDiscovery, Relativity/RelativityOne, Reveal/Brainspace, Nuix, Exterro, OpenText, M365/Google Vault, NAVEX/Convercent, Workday, Okta/Azure AD.
- Hands-on engineering: Python/TypeScript/Java; API design; data pipelines; OCR/NLP; vector databases/search; microservices; IaC (Terraform); containers/Kubernetes; CI/CD; observability (OpenTelemetry).
- Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP architect-level).
- Experience with records management, defensible disposition, and audit readiness.
- Background supporting immigration/HR compliance or minors’ data protection is a plus.
- Comprehensive medical benefits
- Competitive pay, 401(k)
- Retirement plan
- …and much more!
