- Ensure product and process quality by monitoring performance and quality testing, executing diagnostic tests, establishing standards, and confirming adherence to the standards.
- Apply hands on technical troubleshooting skills to existing processes and quality concerns.
- Lead the application of root cause analysis in problem-solving/deviation from standards.
- Follow up on process capability and assist in ensuring permanent improvements are made.
- Mentor production operators and other team members to improve the application of manufacturing standards and reaction in the event of deviation.
- Analyze production workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Support process standardization, documentation, and operator training efforts.
- Lead audits, customer visits, and technical discussions.
- Foster a plant culture of accountability, quality ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- One year’s experience in a leadership, management, or supervisory role required.
- Knowledge of basic quality, financial, and operations protocols.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, intellectual curiosity, and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively present information to the management team and other groups.
- Excellent organization, prioritizing, and multitasking skills.
- Work effectively as part of a team and provide advice and feedback to the team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
