Amarx Search, Inc. amarx.com Full Time position in Rochester, NY Position ID 2153 An excellent position with a large defense technology company delivering innovative mission solutions Lead - Electrical Engineering - RF Please apply ONLY if you have a relevant degree and 9+ years of relevant experience You must currently be a United States (government related work) Visa sponsorship is not available for this position We can ONLY consider your application if you have 1 Bachelorrsquos Degree 2 RF background, troubleshooting and design 3 9+ years prior related experience (7 with Master's) 4 Experience designing state of the art RF electronic circuits 5 Experience designing multi-octave power amplifiers covering VHF, UHF and L-Band frequencies. 6 Experience in lumped element and distributed microstripstripline filter design. 7 Experience with test equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators et.al. 8 Experience with RF CAE design tools including ADS and Momentum. 9 Radio system design experience. 10 Secret clearance is desired 11 Must be willing to relocate to Rochester, NY We are looking for an outstanding RF engineering lead to support to the Hardware Engineering team for manufacturing tactical radio products and accessories. This will include lifecycle support to the component level for hardware and release support for software. The individual will work closely with both the design engineering community and all operational resources to enable continuous manufacturing. Duties and Responsibilities RF board level design, radio design and troubleshooting Program support skills including development of technical baselines, estimates, and supporting documentation Diverse product development knowledge from component selection through change orders and factory implementation Well-rounded technical skills required to understand software defined radio products and accessories. This should include RF, analog circuitry, magnetics, digital and programmable logic, networking, and system integration Familiar with a broad range of test techniques and automation used to assemble and test electronic circuit boards and products Knowledge of how to maintain electronic component supply chain and plan for critical and end of life events Please send resume as a Microsoft Word attachment to Amarx Search, Inc. amarx.com
