- Manages all lab priorities and projects, including new product development, product modifications, maintenance of business, and continuous improvement with ability to quickly adapt to changes that ensure proper service to our customers.
- Manages laboratory staff with responsibility of hiring, training, developing, and managing performance.
- Key technical champion accountable for deliverables on stage gate projects
- Collaborates with key stakeholders to build product roadmaps and effectively manage the technology portfolio.
- Manages customer requests and collaborates with key stakeholders to support customers through problem resolution.
- Collaborates with key stakeholders to ensure successful customer transitions.
- Participates in industry trade associations and serves as key technical contact for industrial wood technologies and applications.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment (without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment work visa and/or permanent residence status).
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math field.
- 8 years of experience in coating formulation and applications.
- 5 years of experience in managing/supervising direct report(s).
- Must have a minimum of 5 years new product development experience.
- Must have previous project management experience.
- 10+ years of product development and commercialization experience
- Knowledge and experience in Industrial Wood coating formulations and processes
- Knowledge and experience in Industrial Wood market segments and regulations
- Training in Design of Experiments and Design for Six Sigma
- Proven project management and leadership skills
- Proven talent management and development skills
