Description: Shift Details (specific hours per day and # of guaranteed hours): To cover the schedule, we need people willing to cover a combination of 8,10,12 and 16 hour shifts (call) Schedule (Days of the week): The facility is open 7 days a week. Saturdays are elective days from 06:30 to 3 pm, standby call after 3 pm. Sundays are standby call only. Call Schedule: To be determined and distributed equally amongst the anesthetist team. Work Details: · Support staff (Breakdown of providers and other staff the locum will be working with): A group of 5 full-time anesthesiologist and a number of CRNAs. · Amount of coverage needed per month: full time locum need · Patients per day: I would say an average of 2-10 cases per day, but this will vary. · Avg # of calls locum can expect during call times (evening, weekend, etc) Hard to predict but perhaps one per call. · Patient population/age: 16 - 99 years old, no pedi. Adult only practice. · Department description (number of rooms, etc): 12 ORs, including Cath labs · EMR used: Cerner for general charting. However, anesthesia documentation is done on paper. · Hospital bed size: 306 · Skills required/Types of cases locum can expect: Service Lines Include: • Orthopedics • General Surgery (including robotic/minimally invasive cases) • Neurosurgery • GI Endoscopy • Electrophysiology & Structural Cardiology Practice Setting: Short Term Acute Care Requirements: · Board Certification: candidates will have to have passed their boards. · License required: n/a works under the anesthesiologist license. DEA: I do not believe CAAs need a DEA license as they practice under the anesthesiologist. · CSR:? - not sure what this is asking. · Certifications preferred: CAA · Certifications required: CAA certification, ACLS, BLS · Minimum experience required: Will consider new grads Are new grads fine? Will consider new grads. Credentialing Timeframe: 3-4 weeks. Travel: Will travel be ok here, similar to the same budget caps used at Specialty Campus? Yes
