Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program management.
  • 8 years of experience in product, engineering, operations, or technical consulting roles.
  • Experience in cloud computing emerging technologies or a related technical field.
Preferred qualifications:
  • 8 years of experience in a software program management role in cloud computing.
  • 7 years of experience managing large, cross-functional programs spanning technical and non-technical members.
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in large-scale distributed systems.
  • Experience executing product launch or go-to-market processes.
  • Familiarity with ML/AI and differentiation of AI model building against traditional software builds.

You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and manage projects through the entire project lifecycle, which includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You are equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.   • Drive mission critical horizontal programs across multiple products including quality/reliability codes and customer incubation.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and cross-functional groups to drive software development, and manage technical dependencies across the stack.
  • Define, iterate, and operationalize key metrics that will help us achieve our product goals and allow the team to prioritize efforts.
  • Manage a collection of technical programs, drive a multi-quarter roadmap, and communicate to a web of executive stakeholders.
  • Drive alignment across teams/organizations/product areas to reach consensus on product direction, north-star metrics, engineering feasibility, etc.
