- Must be available to work hours between 5:30 am – 7:00 pm Monday through Friday, with closing shift at least three times per week.
- Serve as a resource for members regarding exercise prescription.
- Conduct member fitness assessments including aerobic capacity tests, body composition, circumference measurements, blood pressure, strength, endurance and flexibility testing.
- General fitness floor supervision.
- Handle daily operations including opening and closing the center as required, laundry, answering phones, cleaning equipment, and other tasks as assigned.
- Plan and teach daily group exercise classes paying attention to current trends to meet members' needs.
- Learn and implement the process for instructing virtual group exercise classes.
- Collaborate with Wellness Team to design, implement and evaluate wellness/fitness related programs.
- Provide monthly bulletin board and educational handouts on various health and wellness topics.
- Support Sherwin-Williams well-being initiative and other related programs.
- Assist with and/or lead special interest groups such as volleyball leagues, running groups, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion or related field or Bachelor’s degree in another field with 1-3 years’ experience in the Fitness Industry with additional fitness certifications.
- CPR/AED Certified
- Group Exercise and/or Personal Training Certification or related degree.
- Previous experience leading group exercise classes of varying formats.
- Previous experience designing personal exercise programs and working one on one with clients of all fitness levels.
- Experience with taking blood pressure.
- Experience using Microsoft Office.
- Experience designing, implementing, and evaluating fitness/wellness incentive programs.
- Experience with exercise testing including body composition.
- 2 or more years’ experience in Corporate Wellness.
- Experience using Microsoft Office

- Experience with exercise testing including body composition, sub-max aerobic testing, strength and endurance testing.
