Position Overview:BayCare Medical Group, a physician-led organization, is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our busy Cardiology practice at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team of physicians and APPs committed to delivering high-quality heart and vascular care. The APP will support outpatient clinic visits, stress testing, and inpatient rounding, contributing to a collaborative and patient-centered environment.Position Highlights:
  • Full-time position supporting both inpatient and outpatient cardiology services.
  • Responsibilities include stress testing, outpatient consults, follow-ups, and inpatient rounding.
  • Exposure to high-acuity cardiology patients and an established patient volume.
  • Work with a highly collaborative team that values mentorship and professional growth.
  • Weekend call coverage rotation 1 in 5 weeks, with the following Monday off.
Qualifications:
  • Required two years of experience as an APP in cardiac medicine, across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with multiple providers.
  • Flexible, compassionate, and energetic with a strong team-oriented mindset.
  • Active Florida license and NP-C or PA-C certification.
  • Current DEA license.
