#DPJob Summary:
We are seeking a Splunk Observability Engineer to join our Observability team, focusing on enhancing our Splunk infrastructure and deployment processes. The role involves handling support tickets, client escalations, and revamping deployment mechanisms to ensure optimal performance and stability of our logging systems. The perfect candidate will bring a mix of programming skills, experience with cloud-based observability tools, and a commitment to operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and resolve internal user support tickets and client escalations related to our Splunk infrastructure.
  • Overhaul and enhance deployment mechanisms to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of systems ensuring fault tolerance, scalability, and stability.
  • Develop, deploy, and manage distributed applications across cloud platforms, improving up-time and QoS.
  • Design and maintain production monitoring systems, addressing performance and stability issues with effective tools and practices.
Must-Have Skills:
  • Expertise in Splunk and other similar internally hosted logging systems (e.g., Loki, Elastic).
  • Strong background in programming (preferably Python) and building integrations in large-scale observability environments.
  • Proficient with AWS, Infrastructure as Code practices, and Configuration Management tools (preferably Salt).
