- Strong organizational, curriculum development, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with competency-based training models and NADSP standards.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Master's degree in a related field from a regionally accredited college/university.
- Experience managing Direct Support Professionals or apprenticeship programs.
- Experience working in rural or underserved communities.
- Experience with grant writing, reporting, and compliance.
- Develop and implement an Idaho-specific DSP curriculum based on NADSP competencies.
- Coordinate delivery of Related Technical Instruction (RTI) and transition from third-party to in-house training.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and support of mentors, including management of mentor stipend distribution.
- Collaborate with employers to identify, enroll, and support DSP apprentices.
- Track and support apprentice progress toward competency completion and certification.
- Promote program diversity through outreach to community centers, nonprofits, and advocacy groups.
- Assist in securing continued and future grant funding to support program expansion.
- Maintain accurate program records for compliance and grant reporting.
- Ensure program alignment with state and federal apprenticeship guidelines.
- Represent the program at meetings, conferences, and community events.
- Proficient understanding of Microsoft office programs.
