NKHS is a Designated Agency contracted with the State of Vermont to provide the highest quality of service in the areas of adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, children and youth with serious emotional disabilities, and adults with mental health and substance use challenges. We serve the populations of Caledonia, Essex, and Orleans counties through a wide variety of targeted programs for individuals of all ages. NKHS has over 500 employees providing case management, community and home supports, residential care, psychiatry, medication management, therapy, vocational supports, school based counseling, emergency care, and respite services.   • Provides training, support and supervision to Compass Behavior Interventionists
  • Gathers data needed for clinical psychosocial assessments for students receiving BI Compass services
  • Completes CANS assessments for students receiving BI Compass services
  • Develops IPC and individual plans for safety for students receiving BI Compass services
  • Facilitate or Co-facilitate treatment team and school team meetings as needed.
  • Coordinate services for students served.
  • May provide direct coverage for absent Behavior Interventionists/Collaborative Social Skills Interventionists.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Requires BA/BS in Human Services, Education, Psychology, with a MA/MS preferred.
  • 5 years’ experience working with students or youth.
  • 2 years of experience in Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports and Applied Behavioral Analysis.
SALARY & BENEFITS
  • $23.75 - $29.03 per hour, depending upon education and experience
