
Payroll Coordinator - Entry Level

This is a full time, direct hire position working fully in office (M-F 8:30-5). This is an entry level position, the ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and the desire to learn.Key Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll for 500+ employees across multiple states
- Ensure all payroll transactions are entered and processed accurately and on time
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws
- Coordinate with HR on employee changes (new hires, terminations)
- Manage wage adjustments, garnishments, child support, and other deductions
- Audit and verify timesheets, attendance records
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data security for all payroll records
- Respond to inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and tax withholdings.
- Generate and analyze reports for management and audits (e.g. W-2s, payroll summaries)
- Assist with payroll-related projects, audits, and process improvement initiatives
